Tutoring implies acceptance of these terms: Tutoring with Best LSAT Tutor .com implies and entails your acceptance of these terms.

Hourly rate: You may purchase between 10 and 40 hours of tutoring at a time; corresponding rates are as follows:

$60/hr for +40 hours
$70/hr for 30 – 39 hours
$80/hr for 20 – 29 hours
$95/hr for 10 – 19 hours

After your initially-purchased hours are used, you may either (1) purchase single hours at whatever rate you paid for your initial package of hours, or (2) purchase a package of hours at the rates listed above.

Refunds: Refunds will NOT be provided for (1) the first ten hours purchased, or (2) any used hours. Refunds for unused hours after the first ten hours will be provided as illustrated in this example: a students pays for 40 hours (thereby obtaining the $60/hr rate), but that students cancels after 15 hours of tutoring have been provided; having used 15 hours, those hours will be billed at the $95/hr rate, for a total of $1,425, and the total amount paid — minus that $1,425 — will be refunded.

Required materials: You will need to buy or otherwise gain access to previously-administered LSATs. Most of these can be purchase in books of ten on Amazon (see a list of these books). A few of the more recently administered tests can be purchased individually. No other materials are necessary. (Side note: watch these official tutorials showing the tablet-based format of the test.)

Between-session assignments: As long as you are having at least one tutoring session per week, a new assignment will be provided to you after the completion and proper submission of the previous assignment. Assignments may include review and analysis of already-completed assignments. To the extent that doing additional assignments between sessions will, in your tutor’s sole discretion, negatively impact your short-term or long-term preparation efforts, your tutor may limit the amount of assignments given between sessions.

Online resources: Your tutor will supplement your sessions and between-session assignments with unique online resources created by Best LSAT Tutor .com, among other resources. The exact timing and length of your access to particular online resources is determined solely by your tutor.

Nature of tutoring relationship: (1) Your tutor is an independent contractor, and not your employee. (2) No resources and writings you receive or receive access to during the course of your tutoring are to be shared with anyone else. (3) All records kept by your tutor are the sole property of Best LSAT Tutor .com; you are not entitled to direct access to any such records. (4) Your tutor is not allowed to share official LSAT/LSAC materials with you; you will need to acquire all the official practice tests/questions that you wish to use yourself. (5) Your tutor is not an admissions expert and you should not rely on your tutor’s advice about when to take the LSAT, when to apply to law school, etc.; your tutor’s only job is to teach you the skills necessary to improve your LSAT score. (6) The pace of your progress on the LSAT can vary depending on many factors that are unique to you; as a result your tutor is not responsible for planning or maintaining any specific pace in your studies/progress, though your tutor will attempt to facilitate any realistic goals you express.
